Far too Moorish. I challenge anyone to eat one chocolate hob nob then walk away from the rest of the packet
Sadly none of the newspapers are truly impartial. Most of what any of them say has to be treated with some scepticism. But imperfect though it is, a free Press (as in free from State manipulation) is of course a vital pillar of our democratic society.
I would. But whether on not he has a case to answer, it would be a drop in the ocean compared to the scale of the issue. In many ways, this is a more grave scandal then the small boats crisis in my opinion. These grooming gangs have been around for about 40 years in one form or another. Far longer than the boat crossings have been going on. And the depth of criminality is far worse too in my view. Hundreds, if not thousands of victims. Governments have been pulled down to ruin over less.
I would think for the Daily Express to produce this article they must think they have a watertight case, if the details are proved correct he will have no choice but to stand down. The videos of Susan Hall asking Khan regards the grooming gangs show him up in a VERY bad light and will fall into place with this article if things go against him. A truly obnoxious, disgusting and disrespectful individual. He's a friend of Starmer don't you know
https://www.standard.co.uk/news/lon...han-stonewalling-tory-questions-b1205508.html @Watameire For somebody of his intelligence he KNOWS what she is talking about, 170k a year and treats people with contempt.
Now a third survivor has quit the grooming inquiry panel. Zero remaining credibility. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwykd173l3vo
With the reports that have come out regards Khan, coupled with recent history, would you agree that we need a change of Mayor.
We don't need a Mayor. Or the GLA. London should have a Whitehall department run by a Cabinet Minister.
It is absolutely disgraceful the way Khan has conducted himself and his attitude to CHILDREN THAT HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED. Perhaps @Watameire can answer that?
I do not have any children, but if I did, particularly if it was a girl I'd be very upset with the video of the Mayor of London with Sarah Hall.
It is clear that there is a right wing witch-hunt against Sadiq Khan. The Daily Express and others would see him destroyed regardless of his guilt or innocence in relation to London grooming gangs. I don't like the man. I believe some of his policies are ruining London. But I'm not about to believe stuff I read about him in newspapers like the Express and the Mail. Any more than you would be inclined to believe what you might read in the Mirror or the Guardian, or the Socialist Worker. And I'm sure you don't mean to imply that other people who don't despise Khan as much as you somehow take the crimes committed against vulnerable kids less seriously than you do. Every member of this forum and every decent person thinks those grooming crimes are sickening. There is no moral disagreement on that issue. The only difference is how much different people are inclined to blame Sadiq Khan for any part of what has happened. That is a political - not a moral - difference. Solid, verified evidence may change opinions of Sadiq Khan in relation to this matter ... if / when it is forthcoming. But for many people such evidence will have to be verified by other sources far more objective and reliable than the right wing press or the likes of GB News.
Actions speak louder than words, the Susan Hall video and the total contempt. Regards your end comment, @Watameire please let answer my question, you do not need to do it for him.
Watameire might be more inclined to answer your questions if you don't SHOUT THEM AT HIM. It comes across as needlessly hostile in my opinion.
