I still am unsure what our best forward line is. We have the most efficient defence since young fish costa fortune days. Our midfield is really taking shape and so snappy into a tackle.

Based on that performance tonight I would say that Jones & the current ownership have restored the footballing part of CAFC to where we were prior to the arrival of the Old Scrote and his grinning liar almost 12 years ago.

I think Jones is now competing with SCP for the status of our fourth best Manager of all time.

He isn't quite there yet, but if we consolidate and improve, start being seen as serious promotion contenders over the next two or three seasons, then I think NJ will have overtaken Chris Powell.

These things are subjective of course. But I'm becoming,very impressed by a Gaffer I did not rate or like for a long time.
