This has been a better performance but goals won games and we look completely toothless at the moment. We have no luck in front of goal once we do make a chance
First home game August 6th the next one November 1st 3 straight months without a home point . Must be some record broken
Much as I never wanted Manning, he, as has Thorup have been stitched up by Knappers incompetence. However when I see where we are crossing the ball from, the free kicks into the box, long throw ins, it's all so very English. English managers are flaky, no style, no shame, crap. We need a decent foreign coach with no expectation for top 6 who knows how to play football.
He’s been one of our best players (low bar), he challenges and breaks up a lot of play, runds tirelessly and played the 2 best balls in behind to Stacey
We've had plenty of foreigners as managers that have failed miserably too ,the only good one was Farke.
Yes. In fact, I think he is a poor player. He cost us this in this game, Ipswich and I think at fault in one of the other losses. His first touch at times is awful and he's weak.
Have we? How many bad foreign managers have we had compared to English over last 10 years? I'd argue the truly terrible ones are Smith and Manning? I think JHT was building something to believe in with 20 year old. The football was good, we scored lots of goals.....but he had fresh 19 and 21 year old in his defence to deal with because he was building for the future. If I were in charge of Norwich I would avoid English managers like the plague.
Yeah of all the poor performances in the Norwich camp this past few months I would definitely chalk your MD efforts as the worst. If it weren’t for you I imagine we would be in the playoff spots
It’s neither “totally” made up nor “based on nothing” - Arsenal’s first half performance with multiple long throws against PSG last season has been frequently cited as a bit of a turning point in the tactic’s resurgence. I am not saying the statement is right, but it’s clearly not baseless or made up
