Really Tough for us if Mcburnie doesn’t make it especially having the other key players missing. He helps defensively on set pieces and going forward his hold play brings our attacking fullbacks into play. They are not the best defensively though and if we give the ball away to easy they will struggle. Having said that we have won a couple, confidence must be high and let’s hope who ever comes in does a good job.
Looking forward to tonight. I think if Acun can weave his magic and somehow add a couple of players in january, we have a real chance of top six. However can we then tell them to shove the Premier league as its ****e and the championship is where we need to be. Obviously Acun still gets the millions though
If City represented the diversity of Hull over 90% of stewards would be white, about 2% black and the rest Asian. Never seen one in a burqa or flowing robes. Islamophobia?
We would need a couple of quality additions as well as, and arguably more importantly, a long overdue run of far better luck with injuries though. Even now we have: - Millar only just getting back up to near match fit - Our captain out (again) - Lundstram, a / the key midfielder out - Belloumi out - Matazo out - Crooks, Ajayi, Famewo and Ndala all just coming back from injuries - Williams and Palmer awol - And now I fear (hope I'm wrong - we'll find out in 30 mins) the biggest loss of all, McBurnie out. We seem continually fated. No way will be consistent enough to trouble play offs until our ill fortune with injuries changes massively.
