I thought "'By The Way" was a decent album at the time

 

I assume that was more based on the other stuff I l posted then, rather than that Dance With The Dead song!

It's ok, I like metal but not really hardcore, Suicidal Tendencies are only crossover band I really like.

Great album at the time but like a lot of Americana from that era, very dated nowadays

Listening to the Melting Pot compilation album by The Charlatans. **** Oasis. Stone Roses and The Charlatans were better.

 

How long is that country mile again ?

 

Around 2004-2012 I was really into a sound called Broken Beat. It came out of west London, Carnival scene.

Best described as an electronic upbeat blend of soul, jungle, drum & bass, garage, hip hop.

It kind of disappeared around 10 years ago, or so I thought. A couple of people called IG culture and Alex Phonzi had been keeping it going under the NameBrandSound moniker.

Anyway, happy it's been revived.

 

This was THE broken beat anthem back in the day
