    Match Preview;
    This Wednesday night we head to Wales, for what will likely be a cold Wednesday night in Swansea. They sit 13th, having won 3, drawn 4 and lost 3 so far this season. Their manager, Alan Sheehan, was assistant manager at Southampton under Nathan Jones, and left when Jones was sacked and then moved to be an assistant head coach at Swansea. He was caretaker manager for the first six months in 2024, then again in February 2025 until he was appointed on a permanent basis in April 2025, after five consecutive wins. That season, he led Swansea to eleventh place, with 61 points. They'll be hoping for a better finish this year, and a return to top flight after relegation from the Premier League in 2018. Since relegation, they've finished in the playoffs twice, in 2020 and 2021, but since then they've finished mid-table.

    As for us, a disappointing loss on Saturday after a six game unbeaten run. Those four wins and two draws, so 14 points, had seen us move up the table, and so after Saturday's loss we now sit eleventh, on 15 points. Stefan has managed to turn us into a decent side going forward, and that is very exciting to watch...but defensively there is still work that needs to be done and the two goals conceded on Saturday showed that. Their first goal came from a long ball smacked forward to a lone striker, who should never have been able to get a shot away, let alone follow up on the rebound and score...and their second goal came from a cross that probably should have been dealt with before it reached their man, who snuck in at the back post to poke home. Frustrating stuff. Here is hoping we have a more productive trip to South Wales, and get back to winning ways.

    Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, enjoy if you are making the trip on Wednesday night, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    Cheers Dave.

    Many years since I’ve been to Swansea. Big ask to win there but I have no idea how this QPR team works, so who knows.

    ****ing hell it’s 13 years since they destroyed us at home. Time flies when you are having fun.

    My inability to think of someone to add to the list will wind me up all day until I think of one.

    I’m shocked and appalled that Paul Jones didn’t play four games there on loan circa 2009

    Is Swansea one of the handful of clubs that Lee Camp never played for?
