It's either a true case of round pegs, round holes OR we've been repeating it so much everyone has it lodged in their brains....

Yeah I'm more or less 50/50 regards those two. I think they both offer something different/lack certain qualities. Adarma's energy is useful, Archer is more clinical if given the chances. Neither are ideal, but I think with three creative players around them, eventually something will happen. With only two wide men? Nah. Won't score again.

Has Fellows ever played more centrally as a 10?, there's a part of me that would like to see him running directly at the defence through the middle.

Wiki says he has played as an AM.

The way that he likes to run with the ball makes me think that he could play in any attacking midfield position. But I think it's his love of crossing, invariably with his right foot, which leads him to play on the right the most. With little aerial presence in our attack though, the need for such crossing is greatly reduced (unless low and hard).

Well done for getting it up so soon along with the good advice re phone use during matches and of course the, now obligatory LTL poem.
3-1 away win for the super soaraway Saints.

Jelert is definitely carrying a knock and sounds very doubtful

Just as he was showing some promise...

Then I'd swap in Mads as it's the best like for like position wise and this stops needing to use fellows that deep either

I spent 4 fun years living in Bristol and lived near Rovers so i hope we smash City! But draws are our speciality!

I can see a loss here. Ashton gate is a tough place to go on a Tuesday night. We can’t score, 0-0 would be a good result.

I`m done with the mumbling pressers and Still calling players by nicknames - Stevo, Wee Man etc - lets do the talking on the pitch for a change. 0-2 to Saints !

Changing my tactics for this one.

I reckon we're going to wallop them. 3-0 to Saints.

A draw would be a good result here, but given the amount of poor results we’ve already had this season it feels like a game we need to win to get something going/not fall further back from the autos

First time I’ve attended a Saints game in years & first away game since probs League One days, gutted couldn’t get my old man a ticket too, but be keen to link up for sure :)

Got a mucker of mine coming over from Kenya for this one (he’s big City fan & live out there with his wife these days so never get to see him) meeting him before, but I’ll be keen for link up at HT!

Not sure what scran like in away end but one of my mates run the Caribbean food spot at Ashton Gate called “Feed The Goat” - top grub, would recommend that if they got in away end & no doubt I’ll be lurking around there half time if they do;)

I’m as baffled as the rest at how we’ll get on in this one… pains me to say it but City been decent all season. I reckon hard battled draw. I’ll go 2-2. Us to finally find bit of rhythm up top in a 4-2-3-1, but lose a bit of solidity at the back.

    McCarthy,
    Jelert, Edwards, Wood, Manning,
    Jander, Charles,
    Fellows, Scienza, Arma,
    Archer

    COYS!! Absolutely buzzing for it!!

Will be going to this game, my first since Saints last visited Bristol, hopefully with a better result this time.
I will be in the home end, behind the goal so any goal celebrations may be muted!

I'd probably be happy with a draw tbh, depending on how it comes.

Just looked at fixtures for this midweek and interestingly 6 of the 8 teams below us are playing each other tomorrow so if we lose we should prepare for the table not looking great at all.
