Silva is out of contract at the end of the season - I wouldn’t be surprised that Marinakis appoints a ‘stand-in’ Manager for the rest of the season and then appoints Silva <cheers>

I’ve had a look at the tables and after 10 games we have 3 wins, 3 defeats and 4 draws, with a break even goal difference.

That smacks of mid table obscurity - not what we would have hoped when the season started after what looked like an excellent transfer window.

However, on closer examination, the 3 wins were against Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn - the 3 teams who currently occupy the 3 relegation places <yikes>

We’ve not (yet) beaten a team above us in the table - and the point yesterday was hardly deserved.

Yes - we should have beaten Hull and Millwall and if we had have done so, we’d be in the Play Off places.

I was told before the season started that Sheehan would be in trouble come November if we weren’t there or thereabouts - the games this week will tell us a lot about not only the team’s future but also Sheehan’s.

I really hope that we both succeed <ok>

I still don’t know what our play is about. No service to strikers. Inoussa looks very skilful but caused no threat. Looked like Ronald didn’t know what to do. Are our full backs defensive or attacking as in this system they did not do either. But what is the system!? Passing was poor at attacking opportunities arose.

I thought there was an option to pinch it late in the second half, Eom made a difference, but otherwise……

One of the poorest performances I have seen. Oh well got on their TV channel.

The best part of the game on Saturday was being taken to seats lower than our allocated at the back ones. The view of a poor performance from our players was very good ...perhaps AS will have to stop thinking about these 3 game weeks and tinkering with the team as it is not working.....poor old Vipotnik had no service whatsoever and ran himself in to the ground whilst on the pitch....no real plan of play.....Vigoreux saved us from a mauling and deserved his man of the match accolade....on to the next one then
