It was clearly what he'd gone on for, just tried to hide it for as long as he could ...

... which wasn't long

 

Newcastle fans were quick to throw around how much Liverpool have “spent” without taking into account net spend.. they’ve spent over £700m themselves since the takeover. And they’ve got a ****ing nerve to claim the “cartel” are holding them back

 

The fact that they are envious of, and are desperate to be part of, a cartel that doesn't exist says it all really.

 

By claiming that they're saying they can only make progress if they keep on spending ...

... perhaps spending clever, rather than spending big, would be an idea eh?

 

Didn’t you know “Wor Eddie” never misses? Isak is actually terrible (was the best striker in the world 6 months ago) and only scored because he had Jacob Murphy, Woltemade is a top 5 world class striker who’s overtaken Isak already and Thiaw is easily worth twice what they paid (£40m) for him after successive clean sheets against Forest and a Belgian club that has Cameron Burgess (played for pompey in L1 while we were down there) captaining them

Obviously bias but they really are the most insufferable fanbase around. £700m to get the internet back up on Tyneside seems like quite an expensive investment for the PIF.
