CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR NARROW HOME WIN, There are definitely reasons for Manchester United to be optimistic here. Liverpool have issues defensively, and their weakness at full-back might suit United's tactics. I can see Bryan Mbeumo causing Arne Slot's side all sorts of problems. My head is telling me that Ruben Amorim's side will get something at Anfield but I don't want to go for a draw, even though that's what I think will happen. AI might go for a draw, or the readers [Sutton does not know anyone else's predictions when he makes his] but it is not in my nature to sit on the fence for a big game like this. Sutton's prediction: 2-1 JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR 2:2 DRAW Liverpool vs Manchester United, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports please log in to view this image Sky Sports to show 215 live PL games from this season Got Sky? Get Sky Sports or stream with no contract on NOW The markets haven't quite woken up to just how sharp Amad Diallo has looked recently, nor how well he's linking up with Bryan Mbeumo, who's become his perfect foil in United's new-look attack. Amad and Mbeumo might not have been the attacking duo many expected to define this United side, but their movement and understanding has been electric and could just be the catalyst for Ruben Amorim. At 9/2 to score with Sky Bet, the value's there on Amad. And against a Liverpool side that's been anything but watertight down their left flank, this looks the perfect storm for the United hotshot to make a big statement. Liverpool will, as always, dominate territory and possession but that only increases the space Amad can exploit on the counter. Pair that with his on-field connection with Mbeumo and United have the tools to create more problems for Liverpool, who do look short at 4/7 with Sky Bet for maximum points. SCORE PREDICTION: 2-2
This is always a big game for us because of the rivalry. This time it is massive because we need to draw a line under the poor results in the last three games and because our rivals all won yesterday. Anything less than a win today would really set us back, we have to win today and I would like to see Macca, Grav , Isak and Wirtz perform as the world class players they are
We really need to get the right side in order because that's where teams are mostly killing us. Utd targeted that side last season too when Trent's head was in the clouds.
Worried about this one for lots of reasons. In simple terms though we should win it comfortably against this Utd side. You can never be certain in football and strange things can happen, emotional reactions (red cards), teams just being up for a game (which Utd will be). What cannot happen is that we lose this due to tactical idiocy.
Yeah this feels important to get right back to it and stop the negativity. You can see the articles plastered everywhere trying to manufacture a crisis. Nip that **** in the bud today with a good performance and 3 points
The way we have played recently I would be happy with a draw. Utd will park the bus and try and score from a set piece/corner, or a penalty if Bruno has his diving trunks on under his shorts!
Good to see Bradley starting after his performance for Ireland, Rio also back on the bench hopefully he gets the last 15 minutes
