Keeping you live and updated to the point of now with all player yellow cards, red cards, suspensions and post match shin kicking competitions.

Remember, five yellows before matchweek 19 is a one match ban. 10 before matchweek 32 is a two match ban. 15 by week 38 and its a three match ban. Any more than that and you get a fisting from the FA.

Who is the smart money on to be the first to be susCrooks, it's obviously gonna be Crooks.

    Slater 3

    Crooks 3

    McBurnie 3

    Lundstram 3

    Akintola 3

    Giles 2

    Destan 2

    Pandur 2

    Coyle 2

    Egan 2

    Gelhardt

    Hughes

Destan minutes per Yellow card must move him up the list.

Three yellow cards for a manager sees them serving a touchline ban, that to me seems unfair.

No coincidence that we have finally learnt some ****housery.
Some daft yellows but goes with the progress. I wouldn’t want to play against us.

Which includes midweek games, hence why its match week 8, and not played 10 games. I think it's done on matchweek as opposed to games as some teams would probably play more during the periods, thus making it more difficult to police.

    Edit - just checked again and found this ;

In the EFL Championship, a player receives a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards in the first 19 league matches. After the 37th league match, there is a second amnesty for a two-match ban that would normally result from 10 yellow cards. A three-match ban for 15 yellow cards is a possibility, which carries over to the next season.
    • Five yellow cards: A one-match ban if accumulated before the 19th league game of the season.
    • Ten yellow cards: A two-match ban if accumulated before the 37th league game of the season.
    • Fifteen yellow cards: A three-match ban for the remainder of the season. This ban is carried over to the next season if the cards are accumulated before the final match.
So now I'm totally confused !

Ah....it appears to be league games then and therefore CITYgirl was correct at 10 games to date

Yeh so it seems, with the OP I was thinking it was based on matchweek as opposed to games

It's done on which matchweek it is so that it can go to a specific date, as opposed to how many games a team has played as some teams can end up with games in hand because of re-arranged fixtures/bad weather/rat catching/piss wall reconstruction (just guessing, but Shrewsbury's Gay Meadow ground had one that just drained right into the river and always looked like it was about to erode away - that's one repointing job I'd not accept).

Anyway, this is matchweek 8 we've just had, matchweek 9 starts tomorrow.

I didn't include cup games because they recently changed it so that cards given out in cup competitions don't count towards league card totals. So you can perform stigmata on a striker in the FA Cup, get sent off and not be suspended for the next league game.
