The weak links were Szmodics and Egeli. The number of chances that Chappers and Burns would have buried at their peaks would have seen us out of sight by the time Boro get their first. Jack Clarke is in fine form and he’s on the bench. Nunez looks sharp too. Where’s Ashley Young to pummel them with dangerous balls late in the game? We played some wonderful football at times but the errors of judgement and lack of a plan B from McKenna continue.

    Morning all

Hope you are all keeping well. A very unpredictable looking table so far this season. What’s the general feeling, optimistic or concerned.

We lost to Burnley yesterday and any early optimism drained quite quickly after that. Sunderland look like bucking the trend though, still a way to go.

interesting comment that McKenna lacks plan B it seems a common complaint from most fans from any club when they lose. We’re frustrated we had £36m of new signings on the bench yesterday with Farke showing too much loyalty to his championship players

    Have a great Sunday!!

Good morning Ristac! As you know well, a defeat soon brings out the critics and confidence ebbs away. For us, most of our double winning squad have left, and tbh we are in transition. Talented, expensive players, yes, but taking time to adjust to KM style & strategy, playing well for periods and look invincible at times, then a flow of idiotic errors in most games.

Most mates on here would predict play-offs at best. But it's a bl...dy long season.

You seem to have had a difficult month or so. Cant be worse than our year back up in the Prem! Like many on here, I am enjoying the Championship, tho naturally aspire to higher things.
