I had this discussion with a fan of another club online before the Man Utd match! He reckoned we had an easy start and the wheels would fall off etc.. he didn’t have much to say when mentioned that he would have had us losing every match bar maybe Burnley! 100% people saying we have had an easy start would ahev predicted 3 maybe 4 points out of them!
Thing is mate, IF we have had a favourable start,we have capitalised, pressure is now on our rivals to match us,let’s see how they get on
Just watching the game of the day - Palace v Bournemouth that surely has to be first on However there was some late drama at Forest
Great thread as usual @RTB , and a great read through. Dropped a bollock today by not putting new iptv sub on my tablet, so had to watch on my phone. Thought we were great today all over the pitch. Even when wolves had a fair bit of possession in the second half, I honestly wasnt worried in the slightest, never doubted we would keep a clean sheet. We just look a Premier league side. Still cant believe how far we've progressed in such a few years, then took a massive step up this season. If anyone had said we'd be 2 points behind Man City, level on points with Chelsea, and 5 (five) points ahead of the mags after 8 games, id have thought they were nuts. The futures bright, the futures Red & White.
With the club going all nostalgic on us today along with the scoreboards, I was gutted that they didn't do the tank firing a shell to explode into attack like they used to do at Roker Park - even an attack would've done for me
I really like Talbi. Gets us up the pitch from tight situations very quickly to relieve the pressure. A bit of end product and we have got a diamond imo
State of the Premier League table man. If someone had said after 8 games we would be 5 points behind Arsenal who will be at the top of the table, I'd have told them to get out of my office... if I had one.
Oh no, not another candidate for your dungeon.., ,,,just remember to let him out on match days. Please
Just got home I can remember when ‘away days’ were so much better than home fixtures. Not the case anymore. Sunderland is currently thriving in every department.
