We just played a game and lost it, so yeah we were failing.

A bit like the last game we played before that we won, so we were succeeding then.

 

The manager isn’t bullet proof and he doesn’t deserve this bullet proof notion. He’s won us a trophy off the back of 700 million of cash.

He’s a bit boring and he’s not delivering results. That’s a fact right now. If we want to be factual we have to state we have lost 4 games and won 2 in the PL.

 

He gave an alternate reality league table earlier where we didn't have Woltemade and we were bottom.

He'd have been sacked after his first defeat if GG was owner

 

But playing with 10 men all season isn't fair.

 

Howes as good as anything out there... No matter who you employ they'll make mistakes and have favourites.

Ultimately we've got **** full backs and our wingers/forwards are as much use as Einstein in a McDonald's staff meeting.

 

That’s a good question. I actually find myself stepping back. Am I happy with things no. He needs to ****ing get better and fast.

The guy is a boring one trick pony and I want him to get better. But he keeps ****ing up.

 

Our first choice full backs - when fit - are very good. The problem is, both are knackered right now and our current back ups are either past it, or not right for the position.

This is where I agree that Eddie needs to be more open to trying different things, like youth over experience.

He's not bullet proof. Yes, he has a lot of credit in the bank. But not bullet proof.

 

As if the reverse applies.

Anyone remember when GGostrodamus was saying exactly the same, this time last season.

 

We're short in the full back positions mind.. One injury at LB and we're back to playing a basketball player there

 

I love statements with as many qualifications as this, ie ignoring the games where we get a draw away or win away when we score first. Kinda like the other 4 away games we played this season, where we didn't concede a single goal, got a result from each of them and won the last one 4-0.

Finally saw the Woltermade goal, I doubt that'll be goal of the season. Good finish, but hardly a wonder goal.
