Jones likes to keep a settled side whilst we are accumulating points, I am certain that when the time comes and we are losing games due to not scoring enough goals then changes will be made.
A game like this where Wednesday's defence is as flimsy as the meeting arrangements of @Smudger603 certainly needs for the strikers to get on the scoresheet. It will be mixed emotions should we win but the goals have not come from either Campbell and particularly Kelman.
I don’t care who scores the goals as long as we win. One off the goalkeepers arse in the 94th minute will do me.
I agree totally. You can see Kelman and Campbell are lacking confidence. A goal for each of them will boost their confidence.
As long as we pick up results I couldn’t care less. It’s when we start losing regularly it becomes a problem.
It's a taffy thing. However, he has stuck to a plan since he came here and tbh it cannot be argued with.
Preston is the prime example. Once we went a goal down we were all over the place and did not look like getting back in the game. We cannot go the whole season being weak upfront and strong at the back.
HT 2-0 Comfortable, there won’t be three worst teams than Sheff Wed in this league. Kelman invisible again.
Wednesday should have gone 1-0 up with the free header on ten minutes. The build up play for the first goal was good although a bit of a fumble by the keeper that was lucky for us. The second goal was very well worked. Up unitl the second goal I thought Wednesday held their own, it's all over now though and we should get a couple more goals. In the meantime, Kelman has not had a kick.
Wednesday have been doomed from the start of the season, the supporters know that as well. At least gives us only two places to worry about.
Wednesday have been poorer than I thought they would be. Less spirited than their fans. We shouldn't be letting this slip now...
We should get a few more now, that second was a game changer. **** Wellllll, overall this was not good. Wednesday will go down comfortably and we could still not put on a performance.
Kelman off after 60 minutes, he looked VERY fed up and subdued. He'll not start on Tuesday at Ipswich.
It wasn’t pretty They got well on top of us in the second half. We don’t play good football, even when we are on top. Other than the two goals, we created very little again. You can’t argue with our current 9th place in the table, we are punching above our weight given how we are playing. Kelman was desperately poor today. He offers nowt. Olaofe needs to start at Ipswich.
