It couldn't go anywhere else, it was to his left, had he palmed it harder it would have gone across an open goal and unless he has Exorcist style wrists, he can't flick it round the post if he's diving the other way. It was poor defending, Coyle should have been picking up Paik because Egan was already there in the middle.
Absolutely sick to death of Burnsey, wouldn’t let it go that he thought it was a pen then seemed to revel in the fact he may have jinxed it by saying Stansfield has been quiet. Bring fletch back
He was poor tracking back and pressing against Sheffield United as well but the goal made up for it. For a player who isn’t great with the ball, you’d expect him to make up for it by working hard without it.
There are certain players that always seem to play well against us, but fans say are rarely consistently awesome. Patrick Roberts is a prime example of this.
Except 1 is so poor (Joseph) and the other isn't doing much better. I'd have Joseph, Akintola and Coyle off
He does work hard But hes just not good at it Just then he ran towards the ball in the middle Which left acres of space on our left Great example
double like....was thinking the exact same thing....one of those that I wonder how he's never made it at prem level cos of how good he always looks Vs us
I get the job Joseph does on the left, but it means the quality has to come from the other side.Akintola is not the answer
Akintola just lacks basic common sense. Decision-making is just bizarre. It’s like a 100m sprinter was given football boots for a day.
