I find it a bit concerning that our two marquee signings have stayed the previous two games on the bench.

Fair result un the end. A poor Swansea side a Saints team thay is slowly starting to click. Get a decent striker un the window and we will be mid table. Happy with that this season.
If Jander scores that goal, which he does 99 times out of 100, people would come in here saying “well we should have scored more, and were wasteful, but the general play was a lot more threatening, and we have a player in Scienza who looks really exciting”. Unfortunately it’s the one time he misses, so instead it’s “the manager is clueless, we’re rubbish, SR out blah blah”.
Jander shot off the post and missing the follow up, Archer not being ready for a shot that came off the post, Armstrong kneeing the ball wide after GK got a hand to it. And Woods header from a corner straight at the GK. Maybe not all completely "clear cut", but on another day all 4 of those could, and maybe even should, have gone in/been on target.
It's been difficult supporting our club over the last few years. After games like today and many this season it is extremely disappointing. Ultimately we have 2 choices on how we react 1. Throw abuse to the board, the manager and the players 2. Get behind THE CLUB, we have the quality and sometimes the encouragement and confidence will come from the supporters Not saying you don't get behind the team Lincs, spending you hard earned dosh home and away and we should expect to be seeing better results and performances. There is still three quarters of the season to go and we will need to go through some pain to get the gain.
A shot hitting the inside of the post from 3 yards out, and the follow up rolling across the goal line feels fairly clear cut to me.
Cold and stuck on the bus in traffic on the avenue…. But marginally positive about the game. Thought THB was a bit pedestrian at times and this led to a lot of the slow down at the back but will need to watch the highlights as I have no idea how we managed to miss those.
Think you need to reassess your definition of ‘clear cut’. I remember Charles being through second half, but he is a DM. If our big chances are falling to Charles and Jander, we’re not going to score a whole lot.
