Welbeck has played against us in 19 games. In those 19 games vs NUFC he's scored 3 goals and got 1 assist.
He does they are our bogey team. Still I am confident. Hall is back but I doubt Howe will throw him in the mix.
Agree. But you do also realise that 'hard to beat' often goes against free flowing, attacking football. Not many teams manage both effectively. So getting results means we might not always play exciting, attractive football. So long as people are prepared for that before kick off.
I’m happy with that. Pragmatic away from Home and countering actually suits our wingers. We are due a win at their spot mind.
We've been harder to beat ever since Rafa actually sorted out the defence and the comparison to the Keegan/Robson eras of awesome attack and **** defence is great. Much prefer us playing this way and controlling midfield and having a reliable defence, rather than flying upfield with attack and ****ting myself every time the opposition come near our goal.
He's a striker and that's a poor return for someone who 'always does well against us'. He probably will do well now though
Welbeck doesn't score that many anyway, his highest scoring season was 10 league goals, he just makes things very awkward.
No chance of viewing or listening today so please excuse a distinct lack of knee jerk criticism and bed wetting.
He's horrible, all gangly and causing problems for our defence...like a Shola that's actually good. Weirdly managing to stay fit now for the first time in his career and playing his best football at 34.
We've been using sub standard cbs for many years, but I don't think that's the case now, so he won't have quite as much fun... Unfortunately our best full backs are both out though.
