I was hoping to cross earlier, but the Keel Crossing bridge is not opening until 13:30 apparently, and there's some sort of opening parade across it at 14:00, so it might be busy

 

I’ve was under the impression that was a fanzine involved in that but I was wrong.

If it’s official I’d think it was a daft idea tbh.

 

They have been so far this season.

 

Was just thinking this, seems a strange time to open given the amount of fans that will be using it. Even 13.00 opening would've been better

 

It should have opened at midday 1.30 is a crazy time to do it you’d think they were trying to cause problems

 

We were wondering about the parade and how busy it will be. Going to see what it's like when we get into town.

 

Don't know about this one, it's probably the most nervous I've been going into it. Don't know if it's the news about our midweek injuries or if wolves look better the last few games. Gonna go with my head and say 2-1 Wilson to score again, maybe a zhaka pen

If ‘the parade’ is 2pm it means people will be arriving at the turnstiles with around 40 minutes to get in and find their seats. So not much time for refreshments which will cost the club …

… I’ll be at the Museum before it starts so I’ll miss out on having my face painted

 

Here we are folks! Matchday! Got a few nice bits of Sunderland gear for my birthday that I’ll be wearing today! On a negative, Our boiler packed in last night! Currently waiting for the gas engineer to arrive so I don’t have to have a cold shower!!! Heading into town for lunchtime. Have a great day everyone!

 

People keep saying Wolves have improved but, the fact remains, they’re bottom without a win and just lost at home to Leeds. All these games are tough but I doubt Wolves will be tougher than West Ham or Brentford.

I’m confident we’ll give them a difficult game and we’re capable of beating them …

… that’s all you can ask for at this level.

 

It's just the Sunderland way. We look well up for it against the big teams and have a wobble against the teams that on paper we should beat!

We've broken enough hoodoos and jinxes by now like winning at Wembley, winning at Coventry, beating Forest etc …

… people have always said ex-Sunderland and ex-Mags are ‘nailed on’ to score against us but it never happened once last season.
