I'm going to be up on a set a steps putting up some pictures and then trying to get the grass cut before the game - does that count as risky? Though seeing as I have all the football prowess of a dead wombat I won't be missed
The Echo was reporting on the Fantwit rumour and saying it was strange (for clicks) - they weren’t reporting it was true..
I can't remember the last time I actually found an article on the Echo site in amongst all the adverts
I was telling my wife that I believed this week was the week that it was all going to click - the football would be compelling, even beautiful enough to dampen the eyes of the most hardened Saints fan. The team would perform as one unit, like a flock of graceful birds, moving in tandem and creating patterns and shapes that you only find in the natural world - each player sure of their job, confident in their ability and exacting in their standards. It only leads to a win. She told me that I'd said this for the last bajillion weeks and that she would be staying at her mothers for a while. What she doesn't understand, and will now miss, is that it's this week. This is the week where it all clicks.
St Elsewhere I also share your optimism but find your post most enlightening. So we can anticipate a murmuration of midfielders ?
Is this a flight of fancy? I tend to think of vultures or albatrosses when linking Saints to avian mascots.
Managed to convince my 13 year old son to come with me to this game. Hoping for a good performance and 3 point or I fear I won't be able to convince him again
Really do need to win this one tomorrow imo. Looking at the table and whilst it's still early days we need to start putting some wins together soon or the gap is only going to get bigger to the top two.
