Can confirm it's a proper away day, great ground.

Going Charlton away in two weeks, never been down those ends.

 

i was quite fond of the place when i used to go - went about 20+ times back in the 70's 80's

 

I'm doing charlton in about 5 weeks. After that will only have minnow clubs left in London which I'll probably never end up doing bar a cup draw.

 

Anyway we're all Ipswich tonight aren't we?

 

Does Gibson still own Boro? He was loaded during the Robson days, can't imagine him having much left now.

 

Are we? Couldn’t care less. Quite like that the favourites aren’t doing brilliantly.

 

He does and he’s down to his last £640m if you want to organise a whip-round.

 

Plenty of good places to eat if you want a recco. Plenty of **** places to eat if you don’t.

They’ve got a really good side on paper. Slight favourites but I’d probably rather have Boro if I had to have a bet.

Good to have Paul Merson in the studio making the most generic comments possible rather than do half an hour of research.

 

Definitely hoping for an Ipswich win given Boro have a drum.

 

Loads I've never done.

Did the old stuff watching United; Highbury, WHL, QPR, Stamford Bridge, Wembley.

Went to the old Brentford watching Bolton, wierdly.

And am doing a yearly day with my lads following Swansea; QPR, Millwall, Charlton.

Never done the new **** (bar Wembley) or Palace, Fulham, West Ham of the top division.

Then any of the ones in the lower divisions. Quite fancied Orient, but it was them or Charlton who got promoted.

Loads to still visit.

 

I'd have probably preferred Orient to come up as it'd have been a more obscure one to tick off. Not gonna complain at doing the Valley either mind.

Guessing you're not coming down tomorrow! Swansea have a terrible record down here but a good time to play us I reckon.

Nope, too much other stuff on this weekend.

Got four Swans games in ten days then, starting with QPR next Wednesday.
