I think free divers are crazy. I met a girl in Phuket who ran a free diving school. She was a national champion (for Hungary I think). I cant remember exactly but she could hold her breath for a stupid amount of time, might have been 8 or 9.minutes. Bonkers. I tried and got to about a minute. Not under water I.might add, I ain't ****ing stupid

 

Did she have a Britannic passport?

 

The world record for the longest time a breath has been voluntarily held underwater is 29 minutes and 3 seconds, set by Croatian freediver Vitomir Maričić on June 14, 2025...that is really, completely, bonkers! 29 minutes!

 

Yeah he could have gone for half an hour. Disappointing really.

 

That is ****ing crazy. I am currently on a bus from Hull Station to Barton so it's like holding my breath the full trip x
