Also wirtz played the 90 and subbed off to waste time so he's through it. Big night to night for hungary and Argentina
Maybe working for free in a tenement in Govan didnt appeal over his lifestyle at home with his drug dealer son in law. Who knows.
This is completely pathetic. Since Villa Park aren’t confident that Away fans from Israel will be kept safe, they’ve banned them from the stadium instead. Multiculturalism in Britain now means removing the victims instead of the culprits. Shame on you @AVFCOfficial
It sends a terrible message. It's probably more to do with the location, Birmingham, and the make up of the local population. The police have previous in how their response differs in different areas.
I thought the Maccabi supporters, including families and women, were attacked by Palestinian protesters who had nothing to do with the game.
I wasn't aware or didn't remember so I just looked it up. Apparently there was a call via Twitter to hunt down the Maccabi fans and to block the player's bus days before the game. Scooter gangs ran them down after the game. The Maccabi fans were filmed chanting and pulling down flags. Several fans, mostly Maccabi, were hospitalised. Pictures from the day look very violent. I don't excuse violence of any kind, it doesn't look any worse than what we've seen in Italy and Turkey on a regular basis. The hordes of Roma fans marching with swinging belt buckles attacking Liverpool fans when Sean Cox was left seriously injured. None of these clubs have had their fans banned from away games. It's a highly politicised situation not just football related but police should be able to cope. I think they are choosing not to upset one side.
