1) On previous form it's not looking good. Historically Farke has the worst win ratio in this league. IF we do go down then it's a joint effort between Farke and the 49ers. Farke for not going to get it right and the 49ers for not sacking him in time. 2) I wanted Viera. He had to rebuild Palace for that old twat Hodgson left and got them 12th before he was fired. 3) My first choice would have been Nuno. He's done an amazing job at Forest after Cooper but he's gone to West Ham. Personally now I wouldn't mind McKenna at Ipswich. He's got a bright future ahead of him.
Look at his History at Norwich it's not great. Again i say he has the worst record in the Premier League. The 49ers and Redc Bull will be wanting European Football in a few years. He's no where near that level. He's a great Champs manager but beyond that I'm not convinced.
Popped on today to see 'Farke not good enough', 'Bielsa this and Bielsa that' and 'we aren't fit enough'. Not missed too much then?
1) You don’t know IF Farke will definitely take us down and you think this time he has been supported, unlike at Norwich, so the blame lies squarely with him. I accept your opinion. 2. Viera? Where is he managing now? Sacked by Palace and the new boss showing us why. And does he have a better CV than Farke? 3. Would Nuno have left a side pretty much established (under him) for us after the last two seasons for the promoted clubs?
Yes, I wanted Viera, and yes, Glassner is a better coach to put it in context, we had just been relegated, and Viera was without a club after getting Palace midtable after the **** show of good old Woy. He had to rebuild that team, as well as a fair number of Woy's team, who were out of contract. To answer question 2, he's in Serie A. On to Nuno we all knew he was going to get fired by Forest by the end of last season. It was a matter of a waiting game, and West Ham got their before us
OK, but what other coach, with that Norwich squad, would've done better ? Would we have more points, this season, if we had say someone like Klopp as coach ? He wasn't backed at Norwich, and frankly, we don't have that good a squad this season either. Example: Farke has been asking for a quality No10 for three seasons now...and Leeds have not provided him with a player capable of playing that role to a Premiership standard. So why do you question Farke's abilities ?
There would be plenty of managers who could do better with any squad. There's this myth that you need money to succeed in football. You need to sign smart and be coached well. Yes, we would have got more points with Klopp as coach or Pep. They are better coaches than Farke. It doesn't matter how much money you pump into a playing squad. You need to sign smart, not big. This squad is good enough to stay in the Premier League. We aren't Burnlley. If Ipswich hadn't spent their summer signing Champs players and gone abroad, then they might have stayed up. There's a reason we have teamed up with Red Bull, and it's not due to their adverts. Big HINT: Scouting Network. Farke got 10 new shiny toys to play with this summer. He would probably have got a No. 10 if we were able to get rid of Mes; however, Farke, in his wisdom, kept playing him and now we have to wait till January to be rid at the earliest. In my opinion, he is a good Championship manager, he's just not Premier League and not the guy who will take us up the table.
What possible evidence do you have that someone like Klopp or Pep would've done better at Norwich (when they were in the Premiership), or for Leeds this season ? And what has Red Bull's alleged scouting network provided us with ? We got Aaronson from Red Bull and he wasn't what was promised - ie: a quality No10. The transfer value for Brenden Aaronson to Leeds United was reported to be around $30million (approximately £24.7 million). Transfer Markt has him valued at €15 now and I think we'd be lucky to get that. We weren't exactly in the race to sign Sesko were we ? You say that a club needs to sign smart, not big.Which signings do you think that were: 1. Not good enough 2. Fark'e fault ? Which players do you blame Farke for NOT signing and who would've made a difference ? I think Farke's exceeding expectations, considering the limited squad that Leeds gave him.
Jesus Christ.. Yes, Pep would have got more out of that Norwich side. Bielsa would have got more out of that Norwich side. Better if the coaches get more out of players. look at Phillips, Cooper under Bielsa. Phillips has been a shadow of his former self since Bielsa was sacked. Shall I point out Moyes and Everton, who seemed to be doing a pretty good job with the ****e that Dyche left when he was fired. Aaronson was not in the Red Bull or 49ers era that was under Orta and Radz, and from what I remember, Bielsa wanted him it never materialized cos Aaronson's price was a gamble if we got relegated. Now, if you want to cast your mind back 3 years, the Arronson signing took place a week after we survived that season. We all know the Red Bull Network is the best scouting network in the world. When they've produced Haaland, Mane, and Minamino, to name 3. Have I said any of the players are not good enough? No I've been saying spend smart for 3 years now. I'm really happy with the signings we got this summer and the prices we paid for them. We didn't spunk £40 million on that guy from Fulham and went for DCL. Nor do I blame Farke for the signings; that's Underwood's job.
RB is the best scouting network in the world? Guessing Brighton, Brentford to name but two might have an argument with that assertion. Look, you maybe right about Farke, so come back at the end of the season if we’re relegated and stick it to me because for now you just sound a little bitter and desperate to be proved correct (which I hope you aren’t). Oh and you mention Pep and Klopp at Leeds
