Me neither, but Thatcher was right about that. Not about being clever or thick more about not being informed enough on all the pro's and cons. But for me the fact that 2 proven liars were leading the charge for leaving was a huge red light to vote remain.
Mate, without Covid or the war in Ukraine I believe we’d be in a great place financially as a country. I’m probably gonna bow out of this thread now, I’m not as clued up as most appear to be whichever political persuasion they are. Just respect each others opinions we all want what’s best.
If you define below average intelligence as "thick" then, statistically, there's a high probability of it lol. But also, the study isn't black and white, it just indicates a general trend...
Johnson had two letters on his desk waiting for the result of the referendum to be announced. We are therefore all gullible for allowing this grifter to gain power. Or, didn't have all of the information at hand to make a qualified decision. I voted remain as to walk away from our biggest trading partners isn't a good idea.
As I’ve said mate we shouldn’t have been given a vote on it, we don’t know enough to make the right decision. And we’ve all got hindsight to make the world a better place. Enjoy the crack lads and lasses I’m going to back to footy I’m marginally more clued up on that.
An "informed choice". I don't drive, but if I had a car I wouldn't make a 300 mile round trip to buy petrol at a petrol station 150 miles away because it was 10p a gallon cheaper there.
Could you please explain how brexit caused massive immigration unless the country exceeded it expectations after brexit meaning we needed more people?????????
Evidence ca always be manipulated to suit an agenda. Is intelligent the be al and end all. Who is best the person who invented something but does not know what to do with it or the person who takes the idea and makes a product. That has always been the problems with this country, look down on the people who don't have educational qualifications even if they can do a better job. It got turbo charged by Blair with his stupid 50% uni policy.
What a pathetic left wing view, the idea of productivity improvement is to work smarter not harder. Example, company digging trenches uses 10 men using jack hammers or one man using excavator, are you saying the one man is working 10 times harder
Good try! Won’t wash…. let’s have the answers from those who’ve been so vocally critical….what do they want to happen now!
Productivity improvement usually requires capital investment but socialist governments invariably disincentivise this approach as investors rightly look for a reward commensurate with the risk.
