Yep agreed. Got a couple of mates who are Owls fans. Great lads, great club and cracking city. Scandalous the way that Chansiri has run that club into the ground. Hope someone can come in and rescue them but it doesn't look pretty for them at the minute.

It's a dire situation alright - even if someone was crazy enough to meet Chansiri's asking price, the club is in such disarray that any prospective owner would need to spend tens, if not hundreds of millions on the squad and the infrastructure. Hillsborough is falling apart. Such a shame - proper football club
Bizarrely this latest event barely gets a mention on their Owlstalk forum, they've just been browbeaten down so much its just one more step along the descent.
They will be deducted points, bought by an ambitious new owner (hopefully), get relegated and start again from League 1. I wish them the best. Solid club ran currently by a moron
I have a mate who is a commited Owl and he says they have been waiting for this. Something which puts it out of Chansiri's control. He reckons there is another tax bill imminent apart from the unpaid one. An ungodly mess, there but for the Grace of God.
Considering the amount of money in football overall, it's crap that this can be allowed to happen to clubs.
Terrible times for Sheff Wed and their supporters. I really hope they can get through this and become the club again that they once were.
