For me (all being fit and healthy):

    McCarthy,
    Jelert, Edwards, Wood, Manning
    Jander, Charles
    Fellows, Azaz, Armstrong
    Archer

only question mark in that is Azaz as he's not hit any high notes yet but Scienza can be a direct swap there I think

On top of that I'd just like to see a home win live that wasn't because of a 96th minute scramble

Don't we already have a player who is a natural 10 in Azaz? He has the experience of that position in the Championship and has impressive numbers too, it's a bit early to give up on him yet imo.
I would expect that the long term midfield would be him in front of Charles and Jander.

That's exactly my team with Adarma and Fellows being interchangeable.

so would I but it would also be nice to be sat that at 80 minutes feeling like this is all done and dusted and we've seen some good football instead of hoping something positive is going to happen...

I definitely would but it would be nice to a have a comfortable home win. Not had one of those in the league for 18 months.

You can't beat a 96th minute, scrambled winner. The experience of that live, on the first game of the season, after many beers, temporarily felt like winning the lottery... but in fact we had just scraped a win over Wrexham! :emoticon-0138-think

Makes the reports of earlier in the week even more strange. Maybe we don’t actually want to buy him but it’s weird that we’d say that and then give him more time.

What, the report from "Fanatik" which is most likely utter nonsense? Saints haven't said anything about not wanting to buy Jelert.

FFS have picked up a chest infection so will probably have to miss the game.

Right, that's Stewart, Quarshie and now Tom out for Saturday. No one else do anything risky, okay?
