Had almost zero expectations from The Paper (Office spinoff) but it's surprisingly great. It's like a more grown up version of The (American) Office with better writing and more likeable characters.

No where near the best TV series ever, but at the moment I am on about episode 30 of 125 Cagney and Lacey throw backs.
A nice little trip down memory lane.

This looks very promising, the books are cracking and it seems like it's going to do them justice, which would make a change.

Bit more easygoing than the Game of Thrones books but it's just as dark and brutal when it wants to be. Looking forward to it.

It was ok, definitely got better the further into episodes you got, actually by episode 8 and the finish of the first series, you really wanted episode 9. Easy watch I’d give it a 7.5.

Struggled to get into it, that’s been the case with the last couple of things I’ve started to watch

The recent repeats of Fawlty Towers came on and I found them unwatchable, strange as I always thought it was funny …

… this time it just seemed really annoying and totally contrived.

The casting is brilliant, where everybody 'fits' and it's still very funny now

It just looks very dated now, ridiculously middle class and has the look of the ‘British Empire’ days about it.

I didn't realise how racist and stereotypical it was until the repeats came on …

… idiotic Spanish waiters, arrogant Americans, thick Irishman, etc.

Basil is basically Alf Garnet is a cravat <laugh>

I tried a couple of times and like loads of things that I watch and then go a year or until the next series, I can't remember what the **** has gone on and find it hard to get invested again!

So many shows I've not managed to get into the 'new' series often its the final series aswell!

Watched Twisted Metal series1 on BBC iplayer.

Apocalypse world, with armoured weaponised cars, so was expecting something like mad max, not the utter trash it was. Thought it would improve after 1st episode but no. Neither a serious drama, or funny enough to be a comedy. Don't know how it's rated 7.3 on IMDB.
