Some radio stations have full 24/7 dedicated stations already , stupid isn’t it, takes away magic for kids as well when shops are stocking stuff in august . Feels like an all year event these days

In my defence, it was a mini-Waitrose, back of the petrol station job...

By the time Christmas does arrive and I am offered a mince pie. I politely decline. So this year I am holding off until mid-november, or next week.

I’ve just finished night shifts so I can relate to this
Dunno where the **** I am or what’s going on
Mind you I don’t own a dressing gown so it’s probably not me

I was checking in for a flight back to NZ and was being told my baggage was 4 kilos over weight and I needed to pay excess. At the next counter there was a family of 4 checking in, the women must have weighed 130 kilos and the man about the same plus 4 x 23 kilo. I weigh 64 kilos, and they want to charge me 4 kilos over weight, it really pisses me off.

    Makes sense though

The workers aint lifting them fatties up
But if they injure themselves carrying a 4kg excess bag, union will have a field day and the airline will not be pleased

Fair point, but they did say we have a weight limit on the plane for each passenger and that is the reason. But paying for the extra weight makes it okay..

Bite your tongue about the size of other passengers, open the case and put on all the heaviest clothes and boots, a coat over your arm, your hands full of reading material and off you go. Get to the other side of check in and put it all in a carrier bag.

probably been over sensitive here but people who use cemetries for dog walks or just a scenic walk in general, they arent tourist attractions , people go there who dont really want to have to be there in first place without them getting in the way.
i used to do it myself at school as it was a shortcut, but as an adult i dont like it.

I was not having a go at other passengers, most are heavier then me anyhow, that just how it is. My gripe was the airline who could use a bit of common sense at times.

As far as taking out heavy clothes and wearing them, living in Vietnam when it is 35 degrees most of the time, I don't have much need for those sort of clothes.

Not suggesting you were having a go at the other passengers, as you say its a common sense thing, your bag is 4kg over but you weigh 20kg less than someone with a 2kg under bag. In the big picture it doesn't matter but the staff need to have rules to work to and I have seen staff get surly very quickly when going down the but look at the size of him route.
Know the rules, a lot of things can be in the hand but don't count as hand luggage, and being nice and polite to the staff goes a long way.
Again not directed at you but general advice to all.
