This mixed-use development is part of the larger Riverside Sunderland regeneration project and will include apartments, townhouses, and community facilities. Sunderland AFC has formally objected to the plan, citing concerns that the close proximity could prevent future stadium expansion and potentially impact its ability to host concerts please keep up in the thruppeny seats
