They sit 8th, with 14 points, so two places and one point behind us. Their top scorer is Camiel Neghli with only 2 goals, and they've scored a total of 9 in total in their opening 9 games. After a year out of the game, Alex Neil took over at The Den in December 2024, and in his 38 games in charge he has won 19, drawn 7 and lost 12. Last season they finished 8th, just 2 points away from a playoff spot, and so this season Neil will be hoping to get those few extra points that would have put them in the top 6. As for us, it's been quite good recently hasn't it! Four wins and two draws in our last six games, and we are suddenly in the top 6 and looking good. Kone has found his shooting boots, with 4 so far this season, and the attacking threat of him alongside Smyth, Burrell, Vale and Saito has made for some very enjoyable watching. Also, credit where credit is due, we've only conceded 4 goals in our last 6 matches too, which is also splendid to see. Long may this fine form continue, but no doubt Millwall will be hoping to ruin our mood come Saturday at 12:30...yes lads and lasses, it is another 12:30 lunchtime kick off. Team news and manager comments/interview to go up when on the official, enjoy if you'll make it to HQ, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
