I never said there was anything wrong with that. I detest those celebs that actively avoid paying their taxes. I was just noting that his view would appear to be biased based due to his links to the labour party. Bet he didn't mark 4.6Million estimated wealth Rayner as a rich tax cheat though, more a heroine of the working classes from rags to riches eh. I expect Baroness Mone will avoid paying back the £122Million(bankruptcy is a good start), since her husband had companies promoting tax avoidance schemes, he'll know what to do for their benefit to worm out of these situations. My elder relatives either worked as miners, shipbuilders or were in the army, so they were labour voters, and no fans of thatcher. I've only ever voted labour, now nobody, couldn't decide on who's telling the truth on for/against Brexit campaigns either, so missed that vote as well. Though in or out I'd rather a PM took a stand against some Euro rules, laws, human rights etc and didn't bow down to the Euro leaders clique. Good to read both sides of the coin. Being neutral of these threads, you can read the slagging of all sides without taking offense of your team taking a hit.
His face turns from a smile, to an aggrieved expression when blocked, took him a few seconds after returning to the background to regain composure and clear the annoyance from his face.
I know nowt about the said person other than a connection via google search. Just because you advise labour doesn’t mean you are labour mind. Maybe that’s just where they looked for guidance. I admire the focus on tackling tax avoidance to the same prolific level we focus on benefit claimants, it needs the same level of focus on both but one isn’t donor friendly though more lucrative
Mugged off as a serious Statesman by someone who isn't even a serious Statesman either. ****ing Joker masquerading as a leader. Dead in the water.
BOOOOOOMMM BBC News - UK will be second-fastest-growing G7 economy, IMF predicts https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn092p27xn0o Or should that have been "Boom"
Whatever you think of Rachel Reeve's economic capabilities I don't think there's any denying she's talented ... ... her percussion on this old C W Stoneking track is wonderful And, I'm not certain but I think that could be a young Bridget Phillipson on double bass.
Also in the link… However, UK inflation is set to rise to the highest in the G7 in 2025 and 2026, the IMF predicts, driven by larger energy and utility bills. UK inflation is forecast to average 3.4% this year and 2.5% in 2026 but the IMF says this will be "temporary", and fall to 2% by the end of next year. That’s alright then. To get the economy looking better for a couple of years, the government are making everyone much poorer. Great. Thanks chancellor!
not on your life, been there seen it done it, I'm off to where my eyes won't be taken out to pay for illegal migrants and Labours taxes
When people are celebrating the government making us poorer so they can have more money to waste, you know we are fooked. Talk about a false economy
Groucho, Harpo and Chico will be along in a minute, with an endless stream of journo articles to prove that, because you don’t share their views, you must be a ****ing idiot!
