Many of the actual experts in Chris Witty's team disagreed with his interpretation of the data and the methodologies used to create it.

    Plant trees - capture carbon.

Only drawback, he won't be able to funnel £22bn out of the exchequer into his pals pockets with trees.

Stalin 2.0 was visiting India this week, heralding the next influx of migrant workers with the trade deal that the Tories would not sign because it had a Swiss cheese proportion of holes in it. He was delighted to announce a £1bn deal that would see some Bollywood films produced in Britain and it was going to create thousands of jobs. In other words more gaslighting from Stalin 2.0. There are already about 50 Bollywood films made here annually and they bring all their people with them, so the only ‘jobs’ are at the firms where they hire kit. I bet a lot of those firms are run by British people of Indian descent.

Anybody remember those tens of thousands of jobs that Milipede promised from the green energy economy as we became a Clean Energy Superpower?

It seems that is not going too well either. One of the biggest players in that market is Ørsted, the Scandinavian wind turbine company. It is being restructured and has already abandoned plans to build “Hornsea 4” in the North Sea off the East Yorkshire coast because they could not get enough subsidy to make it profitable. So now they are planning on axing jobs, including some of the 1,300 that it has in the UK.

Where have all those people, like Dale Vince, that were bragging not long ago about how cheap energy bills were in Spain with its 100% renewable electricity plans?

I was driving past Drax Power Station at around midnight, returning home from a day out with a friend and there were huge clouds of steam rising from its cooling towers as they were busy burning wood pellets to produce electricity.

Now why were they producing so much electricity in the middle of the night when we have all those wind turbines that our Net Zero zealots have spent billions on erecting in the North Sea? Officially, Drax is considered to be renewable energy because it no longer burns dirty coal even though it is our biggest CO2 emitter; however, its subsidy will halve in 2027 and the wood pellets are imported so not a huge number of British jobs.

It surely could not be anything to do with the High Pressure weather system that is currently camped over the United Kingdom with the wind barely managing to get near to 10mph... <doh>
