Maybe he transitions left to right and back again over the course of time?

It also depends on how much the socks cost. There's a difference, apparently, if you spend a lot of money..... :bandit:

Most people do seem to transition from left to right as they age.

Explains who many tories/reform voters there are.

I don't know about most but I agree, as you age you can tend to become more conservative - with a small 'c'. You own your own home, don't need benefits and don't have the energy to 'change the world' although pictures in the media show plenty of oap's front and centre at just stop oil marches and the like.

Exactly. Have something protect something. Ignore the harm to others in doing so.

    It'd the way everywhere.

When you say ignore the harm to others do you mean by having an 'I'm alright Jack' attitude?

    Yeah.

I get a tax cut. Who cares if the NHS is underfunded?

My house is paid for. who cares about people who cant afford one these days?

    Etc etc.

That's a cynical way of looking at it.

You could say - a person came from a very poor background, worked hard all their life, paid their taxes, gave 10% of all income to charity, raised their children with good values and now they have jobs where they are making a difference in society and the person in their old age can sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labour without taking on the woes of the world.

Thats how some people rationalise voting for really bad options.

Other are really happy vote to keep theirs and are absolutely brazen about it.

Others vote "for change" or out of desperation to.get something promised.

Others are brazen about voting right for racist ideals

There's few enough altruistic voters in the world. Most vote for self interest and ebo they think will benefit them specifically.

This is why voting for celebrities or billionaires seems lunacy and is being proven just that

When the don is done getting his praise for saving the world he will have to go back to the usa to see to their collapsing job market higher inflation and medical crisis.

If he gets his way on their shut down people wont be able to afford even basic care while their jobs market has completely stalled.

I hate politics as you know. It can turn people into monsters, literally and does so on a regular basis. I always vote though because I think you should. I vote for the world I want to live in and who is most likely to achieve that. We can all get along much better than we do currently by listening more and using common sense to achieve better outcomes for the maximum amount of people instead of the minimum amount of people.

    Itd be nice right enough.

Not many people want the maximum good for the maximum people when they get fed a diet of what's good for the maximum profit.
