I got these from the YouGov polls, which in my opinion, is the most reliable. They have Reform with a lead of about 7-8 points. Most other polls have them with a lead of up to 15 points which I think is unrealistic. I just typed in Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham, Northumberland, Gateshead and South Shields as I know that’s a constituency in South Tyneside. They’ll no doubt be more, but I just kept it to that.
Give it up man! If I was Farage I'd sue anyone who connected me with Saville. Any amount of pretend politicians have relied on the " fix it" mantra. More cheap nonsense from those of a certain political persuasion on here,in their attempt to influence people. Dead in the water lad....I'll bet most on here would be pleased if you plowed your political mantra somewhere else.
now this is the bit that gets me, the promises...i think any elected party should be given a year to prove they are sticking to the promises they made, i also think there should be some accountability in there as well. people usually laugh at this idea as well but the plain simple fact is that they keep taking the p1ss and getting away with it purely to enhance certain bank accounts, they are meant to serve the citizens...it is far too easy to tell people what you are going to do then pull any excuse not to do it, i want somebody to come in and actually put it right rather than keep blaming 'those that came before', they are meant to be highly educated so surely it is not beyond them.
Wrong. The UK wasn't in the "Schengen zone" with passport free movement for visiting rights between members ONCE you are allowed into one of the Schengen countries. Being an EU citizen removes the requirement for visas, residence permits or any limit on length of stay in EU states. In the case of Ireland and Cyprus (and the UK when it was in the EU), they are not Schengen zone but so still benfit from EU free movement. There are non-EU countries in the Shengen zone, but EU citizens do not have working and residence rights in those countries.
Positive, meaningful change takes a long long time. It's negative change that is easy to affect quickly.
I thought it would not effect us if I am wrong, I will hold my hand up and say ok I misunderstood, just a pity remoaner never will.
No need for you to leave. Personally I think you are a very valued poster who posts some cracking stuff. Place would be worse without you.
Unfortunately and I am sure Fa gash, is well aware. Kicking someone out on immediate arrival, has nothing to do with ECHR as such. There are several very long standing laws that prevent any government PM etc or officer from immediately putting them into a prison then deporting them. Basically the Kings of medieval time had this power, and its been hard fought over the centuries to stop anyone having such power again. Italy's Meloni tried it but failed (their law system is different to ours anyhow, but she still could not do it. Putting it simply there are numerous problems for any politician, wishing to point a finger to jail/deport someone, eg off with his head etc. I doubt any poster on here of whatever hue, would gift a politician such huge powers. It's too dangerous... everybody counts or nobody counts. I, personally am very keen to stop the boats , but as had been obvious with the last two governments, it has not proven easy The idea that Fa gash wii waved a magic wand and solve it is a joke. It is duplicitous to suggest otherwise. Amending laws of asylum ( not an easy task and it doesn't involve ECHR), so enabling a quick decision on the merit of the individual's claim can be reached, will be a 1st step. Plus amending the ability claiments to have endless appeals, would be another step. So then they can be put on a plane and deported Then decisions on the status of those who pass the test of asylum, need to be considered, they obviously have not contributed to the welfare state, NHS etc what access do they have to it? New/ amended laws will be required. Both of the above points will be deterrents to coming to the UK Cooperation with Europe (they are having the same problems) would make a huge difference in lowering the number of illegal migrants to this country. But Fa gash's Brexit has stopped that and made the problem a lot worse.
