He will be treated for a sprained ankle back here. Depending on the grade of injury (1 2 or 3) he will be out for 1 month, 3 months or several months. Looks like Le Fee could get a run in midfield with Rigg until Diarra and Sadiki are back. I hope Xhaka doesn’t get injured on these internationals, it would leave us with last seasons midfield.
Le Fée and Rigg are what we suspected we’d this season tbh … … not ideal but that's football. RLB is usually good with adaptations.
Le Few has the ability to be our best central midfielder so I'm not scared about that if RLB puts him into the middle. Young Rigf will have a great chance to show he's premier league quality, could be the making of him. Bit nervous about our productivity on the wings, ELF is a strong shout for our most impactful winger this season.
Totally agree! Exactly what I was hoping wouldn't happen! ****ing no account matches putting our players at risk. For us,these matches are dog-****. Furious if this impacts on our season.
****. Sadiki and Diarra out at the same time is a real kick in the balls. I guess we get to see our "December midfield" 2 months earlier than expected. Hopefully ELF and Riggy (and Neil?) step up
Not ideal but as has been said injuries will happen. Hopefully Granit can escape his bookings until 1 of them is back although I reckon we might not see either till after the AFCON now
Please can we tell International teams..... we're trying to do something....we don't need your involvement.....please **** off!
'Right, Diarra is injured. Ok then......hhhmmmm, who is the very last player we would want to also next get injured....errrmmm....yep! There we go!'
