It's a simple question about how Farage will solve the 'boat people' problem ...

... yet no one knows the answer.

 

Apparently Farage, and his supporters, have the answer ...

... but won't say what it is.

He didnt say he would stop the boats that was Starmer with his smash the gangs .What he did say was he would stop all the pull factors that bring them

Maybe stop the appealing when they land here,not having that back up plan to lean on, i don’t know tbh, but until the time comes when the legislation and regulations are stopped or changed,this avenue will be abused continuously like it is now,and nowt and I mean nowt will happen, then we will probably see REAL extremism come into play and make Farage look like a choirboy

We won’t get answers off anyone until the ECHR laws are tweaked,I think even Yvette Cooper has accepted this,i don’t know the answers but someone has to grow some and make some hard unpopular decisions or the carnage continues

In a nutshell without endless video clips, digs at other politicians and whataboutery, can anyone explain Farage’s plans.

Put an instant ban on anybody claiming asylum that comes over on boats. That will render it completely pointless.

Make 2 billion available to offer payments and aid to countries such as Afghanistan and Eritrea. These are the main countries that people on the boats are coming from. Any country uncooperative with this will face heavy sanctions. Missing out on money and facing heavy sanctions is a good incentive for desperate countries to go along with this.

Anybody that does come on a boat will be immediately arrested, detained and then deported. Removal centres to be built in remote parts of the country. In the meantime, disused RAF bases will be used for holding these people.

If people are unable to be deported for whatever reason then we’ll use overseas territories such as Ascension Island should more room be required.

Leave the ECHR and replace the Human rights act with a British Bill of rights which will only apply to UK citizens and people legally allowed to be here. Therefore removing any protection and rights these people coming over on boats currently have.


Will this work? No idea and neither does anybody else on here. It’s an answer to the question that has been asked by the OP, though.

So you're scared of giving an answer because you believe Starmer reads not606 to get policy ideas? Surely you'd want the current govt to find a solution if one could be found, rather than wait 3 years in the hope your knight in shining armour does it?

Of course he is under the skin of folk. This thread, and the fact there is 3 different political threads on the front page of what used to be a footy forum, where he is dicsussed, suggests he is very much under folks skin.

 

It's very simple but people do anything but answer the question ..
