We were well beaten last night - it was almost as if some of the boys were ‘star struck’: they knew England were (far) better ‘man to man’ and it took us going 3-0 down before they came to their senses.

However, the game was over…..

Disappointed to see some bloke called Connor Bradley in Paul Smyth’s position for Northern Ireland.

 

Saito came on for Japan on 66 minutes after they'd just gone 2-1 down.
They equalised in 94th minute.

No idea how he played but great for him to get a cap.

 

Bradley played well in fairness but got booked so will miss the Germany match on Monday.

Eire lose 1-0 after defending on their own six yard line for 91 minutes. Defended well, saved a penalty that should never have been given but pretty dire overall. Icelandic dentist bloke should be sacked.

 

Scotland making very hard work of beating a dire Belarus team at home. Would hate to see them bottle it late on.

 

Faroe Islands beat Czechia 2-1 after a 4-0 win over Montenegro, now one point off a play-off place...

 

Sadly Czechia have Gibraltar at home in the final game.
