    I put this up on the ante post thread the other day:

    Alexei does indeed run and is best-priced 9/1 at the moment (365, Ladbrokes and a couple of others). Hopeful of a big run <ok>

    More place money landed with Alexei but no match for the winner Celtic Dino who looked a well handicapped horse today.

    Been a dire start to the jumps, unless the weather changes dramatically, we are going to see a very slow and mediocre start to the season.

    Extreme weather - get used to it. Give it a couple of weeks and we’ll have meetings abandoned due to waterlogged tracks.
