Of course, the BBC in their reporting say that the parade will cover the all of Hull.....No chance. I sent them a message to say I don't think they'll get much of a wave west of the city centre...Well they'll get a wave but not the kind the BBC would anticipate.. Why are the national broadcaster so $hit? Maybe that's a discussion for another time..
Now the dust has settled a bit I have to say that performance last night was immense. Apart from the first fifteen minutes Rovers absolutely mullered Wigan. Their defence was the best I’ve ever seen, Wigan couldn’t get out of their own half and spent a lot of time camped on their own line. How Hadley isn’t in the England squad is a complete joke as well. I played 4 times at the old Craven Park so feel as if I laid some of the foundations for last night. No need to thank me.
Because the budgets for regions and for lesser-followed sports have been cut - 23 years ago, the BBC did match reports on division 3 and conference League games...
I know plenty of Rovers fans who live in West Hull , just as I know fc ones who live in the east . Well done Rovers , Up the Robins.
You’re one of the good ones Rover, enjoy every minute of it pal. I’m genuinely over the moon for you, it’s the type of season most will never get to see!
It’s a good debate and obviously very subjective but for me Luke Cambells gold medal and City’s rise from League 2 to the Premier League top it. I’m sure others will disagree though!
Nothing to debate imo, they're all fantastic achievements, no reason for one to be 'better' than any other.
It's headline news from Cottingham to Carlisle. Our Wembley win against Bristol City attracted the interest of the Louth Leader newspaper.
Football is my game of choice. Although I did play rugby ( both codes) . I have a passing interest in the rugby teams, but very rarely would I attend a game. That said, I have been taken (by rovers supporting mates) to two games this season. Question is do rovers get a cup at the end of every game? Also being taken to an international @ Evertons new ground.
I saw someone post somewhere , there is only 3 clubs in hull , City , Rovers and Waterfront , childish but made me chuckle
That and the quality of journalism at the BBC is dire. Not what it was say 50 years ago. World class then, now third rate at best.
