To me Champions are the team that ends up top of the league. But Rovers have topped it all with a Cup win and a Grand Final, something FC have never managed. Get ready for FC fans saying Rovers were lucky, it was the weakest league ever…

To be fair they have just interviewed the Wigan coach and he was magnanimous and fulsome in his praise of KR. As was their skipper.

People used say City would never get into the Premier League and getting to an Fa Cup final was never going to happen !
It did .
We also got to the League Cup semi final and played in Europe .

FC won’t achieve the treble in my lifetime. But, there again, I am an old bugger.

Rovers will never achieve it again .
It's the pinnacle of their history .
It will be difficult to hold onto players that may want another challenge now all has been achieved .
Lewis might be a target for Australia clubs but generally backs don't do well there it's usually forwards that have a bigger impact .

Yes but if money comes calling it's hard to turn down .
Haaland has a ten year contract at Man City but if somebody comes calling with mind numbing money it will be hard to turn down .

 

Well, they have done it. And Rovers fans will be able to tell FC fans every season even if FC win 2 trophies that they have not matched it.

 

Yeah but you will be dead by the time Hull FC win two trophies in one season .

 

They have done it and they are by far the best team in Super League .

 

I know. I am 75 and can’t see myself getting past 100.

 

It's clear that the Grand Final is by far the pinnacle of RL .
It used to be The CC thst was the big one . the CHALLENGE cup needs taking away from Wembley as getting ,60,000 into the stadium is a challenge .

Hull KR win Super League Grand Final

Hull Kingston Rovers will celebrate their Super League Grand Final victory with a bus parade through Hull.

It will start at Sewell Group Craven Park at 15:45 BST on Sunday before making its way through east Hull and will arrive at Hull City Hall in Victoria Square approximately 45 minutes later.

The team will appear on the City Hall balcony at 16:30.

 

Although I bleed black & amber, my rugby team, growing up a stones throw from the Boulevard, will always be the Black & Whites, however Rovers have clearly been superb all season and I was very happy to have had this Saturday off so I was able to watch a magnificent performance.

Well done Rovers, you truly deserve all the plaudits!
