I watched it, rare for me, and it’s all remarkably straightforward. All Starmer has to do is something the previous government refused to do for some reason … … simply declare China an enemy of the state and cut off all trade and contact in the hope that there’s enough evidence to convict a couple of low level nobodies. One is a teacher and the other is a Westminster paper shuffler, I wonder what vitally important secrets could they possibly be passing on to China. Perhaps there's been gossip in the staff room or tittle tattle around the water cooler. Whatever it is I'm sure it's worth wiping out £90billion worth of trade.
