    Anybody who paid tax in Britain up to 2015 have helped pay to free slaves and abolish the slave trade on a global basis.

    Lenny can **** off and learn some history. Maybe the descendants of the rival African tribes who enslaved his ancestors and took them to the west coast of Africa to be sold should be held accountable.

    ....and while slavery is a topic, maybe Lenny should look to the Arabs in the middle East who enslaved many more millions of Africans for hard labour but castrated them so they couldn't breed. The slaves taken east dont have any ancestors, they had their balls and penis chopped off and then worked to death. Poor bastards.

    Slavery is still a thing in Africa today. Always has been.

    It was William the Bastard (more commonly known as William the Conquerer that wrote in the Domesday book that nobody on English/British soil shall be a slave. Around 1066 time.

    If a slave sets foot on British soil then he immediately becomes a free man.

    Of course the Barbary slave trade never existed. North Africans regularly raided British settlements and ships and took them as slaves in Africa. Thousands of them.

    Earlier than that, the vikings sold Britons as slaves to the Moors in Spain. The Moorish people originated from Africa and invaded Spain. Many of their forts are still there today.

    Reparations needed from Africa to us Brits then eh?
