So rude, disprespectful and ignorant you would agree with? 175k a year and the disgusting individual cannot have the decency to answer a question.
I've heard him many times on LBC answering all sorts of listeners' hostile questions directly and in detail. You are entitled to your opinion of him based on this clip.
Clearly you are a fan of him whilst I am not so we'll leave it there. I'll accept your apology to me by buying the first round in March
If England is such an inhospitable, intolerant nation, why do people come here in such large numbers? People generally don't fly the flag to intimidate migrants: they fly it as a statement to the government, to say, 'We are still here. We are still proud of our nation.' It seems we are the only nation that has a problem with flags. I don't understand it.
Me neither - if you can’t fly your national flag in your own country where the hell can you ??? I don’t see it as racist I see it that the British people are fed up !
It is 100% understandable for the British People to be fed up with life at the moment. It's less than 18 months since the Conservatives - in power for most of the past four decades - were given the biggest General Election kicking in 300 years, because their collective incompetence had become so brazen it was impossible to justify anymore. Very few voted Labour because they like Keir Starmer. Most voted Labour in order to kick the hated Tories (Badenoch and her current chums included) out of power. And because they were told that 'New Labour Lite' under a bad Tony Blair impersonator would fix everything. Well what a surprise. We've been shafted again. The Country is on it's knees. Youngsters cannot buy a house - home ownership is now only for millionaires. The NHS, law enforcement, social services - all at breaking point. Lawlessness on the streets and in the shops. So, along comes the Millionaire who told us we'd all be better off out of the EU (as they were to blame for all of British society's ills). Only now he's assuring us that we'll all be better off if we deport all the migrants - who are naturally to blame for all of British society's ills. See a pattern emerging? To use the Prime Minister's latest favourite phrase, there is apparently a lot that is un-British about a culture which treats women and girls as second class voiceless people at best, or as chattels (property) at worst. Those attitudes are deeply ingrained in parts of the World where many asylum seekers come from, but they have only been 'outdated' here for around five or six generations. We should not forget how much the Suffragettes had to struggle to win the right for women even to vote. And that was only just beyond living memory. And there are women still living today in the UK and Ireland who had their babies forcibly taken away, or were committed to mental asylums, because they gave birth out of wedlock. Most of our fathers can remember when the bikini was regarded as scandalous and decadent, and that women who wore them had to be of loose morals. Is there also something un-British about destroying hundreds of communities that depended on heavy industry and coal mining? About turning vast regions of this Country into ghost towns, where a whole generation was consigned to the employment scrapheap because it was no longer economical for their work to be exploited by big business, the 20th Century heirs to the Mill owners and Slave traders who grew rich during the Industrial Revolution. We all care now about the young girls groomed in those abandoned ghost-towns by gangs of foreign men who mercilessly exploited their vulnerability. But who cared about those girls in the 1970's and 1980's when the gangs were getting started? Practically nobody. Even the Police and Social services routinely disbelieved victims when they dared to report being abused. Young victims were routinely referred to (even to their faces) as child prostitutes. They were regarded as gutter scum, worthy of no respect and no rights because they were from broken homes, and they went out drinking and making trouble. Are those attitudes, and the lack of compassion that grew from them, not also un-British? There is evidence that some police officers and social workers colluded with the grooming gangs and took advantage themselves of their voiceless victims. Un-British? Well it happened. And it's still happening. There never was a Golden age of England, where everything was cricket on the village green and tea at 4 O'clock. That England only ever existed for the privileged few who lived in such villages. Not the millions of urban or industrial workers who toiled for generations in filthy, degrading conditions in the mines or the mills. Or were sent abroad as cannon & machine gun fodder every few decades. Girls from the lowest classes were groomed and abused back then just as they are today, while they or their brothers were also made to crawl around inside giant machines in the mill factories losing fingers or hands and feet, making sure those machines were repaired without having to be shut down. Or being sent down coal mines by the time they were ten or eleven years old. Un-British? It happened here - generation after generation, to uncounted millions of victims. While the great grandparents of today's small boat crossers were being made to salute the Union Flag, planted in the soil of their villages and towns by the mercenaries and soldiers on the payroll of the British Government and the East India Company. But hey, let's forget all the bad sh*t that ever happened here. Be sold instead on the dream of cricket-on-the-village-green England, and how it can be restored for every honest man-jack of us if we just have the balls to kick out all the dodgy foreign types. A dream being sold to us by a very rich man who would give real snake-oil salesmen a bad name. Supported by the same press machine who told us during the 1930's that Oswald Mosley was the hero who would save Britain.
