He is a pathetic leader and yet another in a long line of politicians who live in the Westminster bubble where they have only the vaguest idea of what their citizens are thinking, what they really want from a government, or what people are facing in their daily lives.

On the plus side I’m all for him damaging his own reputation further, especially in public. because it plays right into Reforms hands, and mud slinging is all he’s got to offer, not real actions

As for Burnham destroying the economy, the current rabble are already doing a great job.

More doooooom and gloom from a TOP RESPECTED ECONOMIST .........

Rachel Reeves does not have a credible plan to grow the economy and get debt down,
one of Britain’s most respected economists has said.
Sir Charlie Bean, who has held senior posts at both the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) and the Bank of England,
said he did not believe that Ms Reeves’s policies could arrest the recent upward lurch in UK borrowing costs.

His intervention comes as economists warn that Ms Reeves will have to raise taxes by at least £30bn to balance the books in her November Budget.
The predicament is partly of the Chancellor’s own making after costly about-turns blew a hole in her finely balanced plans.
Ms Reeves is keen to repair her plans and restore £9.9bn of headroom against her fiscal goals in an effort to convince voters and investors that she has a plan for the economy.

Sir Charlie said simply restoring the wafer-thing headroom mattered “less than the Government having a clear, coherent and credible plan for its fiscal and economic policies.
At present, it does not really seem to have that”.

    It seems
like it is a series of sticking plasters on a wound that needs better medical intervention,
at present it is ........ do this ... fine for the moment then is not the answer so lets try this ... after a while its well that didnt work so lets try this!
Downfall is each time it exasperates the problem via cost [ more needs borrowing ... the labour historical way ]

By the time Reform take over .gov it will need a period of intense "belt tightening" was going to use AUSTERITY, but a lot of peoplke might not understand what that means....lol!!!!
SO AFTER 5 years of them and no labour party so to speak .. who gets the blame for taking on the baton for the following 5 years!

Make no bones about it this .GOV is the death knell of the UK as we know it ... WE ARE A SERVICE CUSTOMER economy .. we dont have Steel mills MASSIVE factories to sell world wide .. our food will be expensive beyond basic's which will currently take up 2% of family to taking up 20% [ thats if you have a wage!! ] Rivers lakes reservoirs will be devoid of fish ......... woodlands decimated as people risk smokeless zone fires and burn wood to keep warm ........... rabbit/deer/pigeons/ possibly most reasonable sized birds absent ... rat infestation history as they will will mostly all have been eaten and come 2050 last few cows pigs and sheep are devoured ................

When Reform take over I believe they will do the sensible things like slashing the crippling welfare costs and associated immigration burden that Labour are totally incapable of
People will understand it’s going to be hard (again) but they will be given time

As for the rest, it’s a scary vision of hell

people did not understand the 8 years of Austerity so what would make them appreciate it via Reform?
Kemi Badenoch's speech .. has certainly set the cat amongst the pigeons .. some of those "pledges" are workable some would need time but when you sit back have a tea and biscuit and analyse it all .............well go back to July 3rd 2024 and wipe out all of the days until 6th October AND PUT IN A .GOV TODAY WITH THE MANIFEST of that presented and it is good news ..... a continuation oof July 3rd 2024 when EVERYTHING, even in the face of the Liebour party stirring up and supporting the unions to cause chaos was in a massive spiral upwards of inflation down/ interest down/ energy prices stable and reducing/ etc etc etc and a lot more positives...........

OK reality time Reform have an awful lot of respect for the "ideals of it " and for NF but reality is they are on the same train as the Tories. Lib dems well they are stop gap fillers that cater for a very areas where most of their ideas are seemingly beneficial ....last election showed that . it was only because some 8 million didnt vote they got as many seats as they did [ there number of supporters were only a few thousand more than the previous 2010 GE ]
BIGGEST PROBLEM is will Reform and Tory split votes allow others to cash in!

Who ever gets in they will have the biggest ... B I G G E S T ...... Blackhole ever to deal with.............

Nigh on possible to buy gold now [ average person ] a year or so ago I could buy gold at around £1500 - £1700 per ounce just tried to buy a couple ounces and they want £7690 [ or £98 per gram ] !!!!!!!!!

Turning to Nigel Farage and Reform UK, Ms Badenoch warned the Tories that they “can’t beat them simply by attacking them”.
“As George Bernard Shaw said, never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it!”

Kemi Badenoch tears apart Shabana Mahmood with hilarious one word speech quip
Taking on the Labour government, Ms Badenoch took particular aim at the new Home Secretary during her roaring speech at the Tory party conference.
