Not at all. The football was brilliant and they won thr FA Cup as well as spending several seasons in the Premier league. The flip side was that this was never sustainable and Portsmouth ended up in League Two with serious financial headaches. The issues are not contradictory but symptamatic of that era where castles were built on sand. Mandaric should have addressed the issue of the stadium and training facilities. Portsmouth had an excellent squad and played good football. Mandaric's legacy is the trophy cabinet and great memories for the supporters whilst ignoring the infrastructure which would have put the club on a more stable path. I felt he was a bit of a rogue who Portsmouth fans were willing to accept whilst they enjoyed such good fortune. The ethics of his running of the club would be interesting !

I am a complete no idea techie. I just type in Fawanews on iPad and up it comes. Often drops off towards the end of the game, maybe due to poor wi fi, thanks Plusnet, or maybe it’s just the Saints team running out of puff.
Yeah, that is my normal approach. But if you have Virgin Media it now says the high court has requested we block this website.
