My gals nan knitted me a nice purple scarf cant wait for the relevant weather so that I can show it off might even treat myself to a bunch of flowers on that day
Nice. I miss my Nanas knitted stuff. Never had much money when my first came along all them years ago and a lot of my daughters clothes as a baby come from my Nanas knitting needles and wool. Always done the job. Always looked smart. On a real, I sometimes have flowers in a vase on my kitchen table. Makes the room a lot nicer and always puts a smile on my face.
I had a cactus and it had got so big it needed a new pot, I know they don't mind harsh conditions, but after 10 years it died because I didn't transfer it to another pot, problem was it had huge long needles, sharp as anything, so I couldn't be arsed.
I have plenty in my garden but don’t think I could be arsed with the mess in my home. I’d probably go down the route of a few plastic plants indoors to brighten the place up.
