Ignoring the fact Martin just didn't seem a fit from the get go at what point does the current merry go round of managers, driven by the need for instant success, get untenable?

Add in the barking mad decisions (Wilder + Sheffield for example) that bring that about too

Enjoy the liberation mate. Like walking on sunshine.

Now it's over you can look at the positives too, when he takes his next job you can have as much fun as we've had this season.

I hope Russell Martin gets a new job. Never been so interested in Scottish football. Football needs a David Brent style manager to keep everyone amused.

I think what happened in the PL with us would put off the upper sides in the Champ. If you are one of the better Champ sides there will likely be a fair few managers available who you think can get you promoted, so it’s judging that v what they do if you get promoted as well. It’s why we’ve ended up with Still I think

I’m very pleased for him, was never going to get that squad working. In fairness even if managers here have for one reason or another failed, I hope that things improve for them over time, they’re human beings like the rest of us.

    I agree.

With the notable exceptions of Martin and Jones.

Disappointed. I was fully invested in the notion Rangers couldn’t afford to sack him so we were going to get to see quite how badly a full season would go

They couldn't afford NOT to sack him after the scenes on Sunday.
