I assume that the suggestion is that false data is being used to drive through changes so that the people peddling the lies are able to make a fortune by selling the proposed solution, so I guess in this scenario it would be manufacturers of renewable equipment, so solar panels, electric vehicles etc. Mind you, the UK government are currently subsidising fossil fuel companies by £17.5bn per year, so when someone is trying to deny climate change, maybe we should be asking about any vested interests they have.
No idea if data is being falsified. Personally don't think man is helping with climate change, but whether we affect it to the extent that we are told, I'm sceptical. Certainly university and research investment is skewed to confirming that we are mainly to blame. Either way, it's yet another 'reason' to continue the transfer of wealth from the majority to the minority... Along with the Ukraine war, global immigration and many other things that are occurring, that seem to make billionaires wealthier but the majority effectively poorer regarding spending power. Tax increases to save the planet affect us, not those at the top. It's been continuing this way since the financial crisis, when the majority bailed out the minority and we've been forced to 'donate' ever since.
First of all the 17.5 billion is only estimated, and then it's not only the fossil fuel companies who benefit, the public and other business subsidies are included in that number too. In the world of climate change and energy nothing is as clear as first claimed.
