The problem they have is that we are getting on for being a quarter of the way through the season already and they still only have 3 points.

We saw last season under Walter and Selles that even getting to mid table form only saw us stay up on GD.

They are going to have to turn it around very quickly and very well to avoid a relegation battle.

But on that theory what can a player do the game has finished, no point in any interviews, analysis or discussion because the game has gone.

Makes sense to interview the manager, he picked the team, he chose the tactics, he decided on the subs.

What were the "dozen great positions" he claims they got into? Apart from the penalty save. how much did Pandur have to do?

We had the best defence because we had 10 players behind the ball every game.

McBurnie has come out and sang his praises in interviews. Every player that joins seems to like him as he helps them get settled in.

His performances are now picking up and he’s keeping Drameh out the starting XI on merit.

Genuinely does he have to scream and shout at players on the pitch in view of us all to be deemed a worthy captain by this point? He’s not the player Ashbee was but the amount of criticism he gets from some is akin to how he used to get chastised as we climbed the leagues.

5 decent chances all game, Hamer hit post and penalty for them, we had other 3 with the goal, slaters shot and McBurnie shot. Like we did Vs soton we kept them at arms length in spite of them ha I g a lot of the ball and never really looked that troubled

Think you may have selective memory there, goal line scramble second half were I think it was McBurnie who blocked a goal bound shot, also a free header for them first half were the lad should have at least hit the target. Just 2 I recall off top of my head, yes we dug in at times and worked our bollox off to get the clean sheet, and we had chances to add to what we got, but they had far more then the 2 chances you mentioned.

It's always hard to tell whether it's two poor sides or two good defences, but my feeling yesterday was that it was a poor game, and that I can't remember us winning a game as unimpressively as that for a long time. My feeling on Sheff U was that they must have big problems if they're losing a game like that with the performance we gave. But I acknowledge I might have read it wrong.

Ah....I had forgotten about the header tbf, the scramble I had deliberately left of as it never looked like a clear 'chance' to me

    Well, well, well.
Hughes right foot toes lands on their players left foot. Exactly as said, at worst on the line, arguably even just outside.
But yeah, he's a lunatic, bonkers. Nah, just correct once again.
